Rec-reation is Re-creation 1 mile Race/Run/Walk
The Humane Renaissance Movement want to bring the 1 mile Race/Fun Run/Walk to communities to facilitate; Positive Change, improved self-esteem is a key psychological benefit of regular physical activity. When you exercise, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. Endorphins trigger a positive feeling in the body, similar to that of morphine. For example, the feeling that follows a run or workout is often described as "euphoric." That feeling, known as a "runner's high," can help attain a positive and energizing outlook on life. Regular exercise has been proven to ; Reduce stress, Ward off anxiety and feelings of Depression, Boost self-esteem , Improve sleep. Exercise also has these added health benefits: It strengthens your heart. It increases energy levels. It lowers blood pressure. It improves muscle tone and strength. It strengthens and builds bones. It helps reduce body fat. It makes you look fit and healthy.
The HRM will have a 1 Mile Race/Run/Walk in Communities everywhere. The HRM would like to bring this endeavor to E.Palo Alto, Palo Alto, E. Menlo Park, E. San Jose, Downtown San Jose, Vallejo, Richmond, Hunters Point/Bayview, S.F. Mission District, San Francisco Golden Gate Park, Berkeley, Oakland and Richmond. This is a Community Building event in which we also will have a Community Blood Drive Challenge between Communities. We will do Voter Registration, Job Referrals and Feed the Community. We will invite all Non Profits in the Community to meet and greet their Community. Get the Community up and racing, running and walking. This endeavor is to inspire and motivate the community to get fit, stay fit and be a Community- Common Unity.
We want to replicate and duplicate these 1 Mile Race/Run/Walk in Communities everywhere....All Over The World.
